Who is
AL LEONARD?

I have been a Broker-Salesperson with Watson Realty Corporation since 1996, specializing in Residential, Commercial and Investment Real Estate Sales. I also teach Pre-license Courses as an Instructor for Watson School of Real Estate.

As a former Banker and Manager for Barnett Bank of Volusia County (now Bank of America) I became intimately familiar with the finance aspects of real estate purchase and sales. For over a ten year period I assisted many home buyers and home owners in obtaining loans.

As a former educator, GOALS, MOTIVATION & ACHIEVEMENT are important to me, as I know they are to you. In an earlier time, I was a high school teacher and coach in upstate New York, then I became a university professor in the midwest, and then a state education official in West Virginia.

Today, I live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida . . . and have been deeply involved in this wonderful community for more than eighteen years. I have walked in the Annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica event most of those years and chaired or co-chaired the event in Southeast Volusia County six times. The Governor of Florida saw fit to appoint me a Trustee of the Daytona Beach Community College from 1991 to 1999. I continue to serve on the Board of Directors of the local Public Broadcasting Station, WCEU-TV 15. I also serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Inc. and am an active member of the Rotary Club of New Smyrna Beach.

I was the President of our Rotary Club in 1995-96 and was awarded Rotary's prestigeous Paul Harris Fellowship Award in June 1996.
